Job summary

MC Machinery Systems, Inc. seeks a Sinker EDM Field Service Technician to diagnose, repair and test Mitsubishi Machining products at customer sites across the United States.

This is a 100% travel role with weekday schedules, primarily visiting client facilities and occasional international assignments. You will apply mechanical and electrical knowledge to troubleshoot, modify and test complex problems, interpret schematics, and document resolutions.

Qualifications

• 2 year Electronic or Technical Degree or experience equivalent.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical problems.
• Skilled in electrical measurement and inspection techniques (Voltmeter, Oscilloscope, etc.).
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer locations to diagnose complex technical problems and perform on-site repair.
• Examine machines mechanically and electrically to repair by dismantling and rebuilding as needed.
• Diagnose technical problems and troubleshoot via telephone.
• Communicate professionally and effectively with customers.
• Effectively interpret schematics and block diagrams to analyze and troubleshoot problems.
• Document in detail product problems and resolutions.
• Other duties as assigned.
