Mc-Machinery-Systems,-Inc. is seeking a SEDM Field Service Technician to support customers across Hartford and beyond. The role requires travel to client sites to diagnose and repair Mitsubishi Machining products, with on-site and phone troubleshooting as needed.

This full-time position emphasizes reliability, safety, and clear communication. Ideal candidates have electronics/tech training, strong reading of schematics, and experience with electrical measurement.

Qualifications

2 year Electronic or Technical Degree, or experience equivalent.
Experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical problems.
Skilled in electrical measurement and inspection techniques (multimeter, oscilloscope).
Skilled in mechanical measurement and inspection techniques (Dial indicators, micrometers).
Ability to read mechanical drawings and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

Travel to customer locations to diagnose complex problems and perform on-site repair.
Examine machines mechanically and electrically to perform repairs by dismantling and rebuilding.
Diagnose problems and troubleshoot via telephone.
Communicate professionally with customers.
Interpret schematics and block diagrams to analyze issues.
Document problems and resolutions in detail.
Other duties as assigned.
