Job summary

MC Machinery Systems, Inc. seeks a Wire EDM Field Service Technician to repair, troubleshoot, modify and test Mitsubishi Machining products at customer sites.

This is a 100% travel position, Monday through Friday, with travel primarily throughout the US and occasional international assignments. You will diagnose complex mechanical and electrical problems, interpret schematics, perform on-site repairs, and document problems and resolutions.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer locations to diagnose complex technical problems and perform on-site repair
• Examine machines mechanically and electrically in order to perform repairs by dismantling machines and rebuilding as needed
• Diagnose technical problems and troubleshoot via telephone
• Communicate professionally and effectively with customers
• Effectively interpret schematics and block diagrams to analyze and troubleshoot problems
• Document in detail product problems and resolutions
• Other duties as assigned
