Job summary

Fleet Services By Cox Automotive is hiring a Mobile Diesel & Trailer Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, light repair, and diagnostics in a mobile field setting. You will manage parts, document findings on RO and TRAIT, and coordinate with customers to satisfy service needs.

The role requires ASE T8 (PMI) within 18 months, welding experience, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced field environment with strict safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 3+ years in related field.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months.
• DOT and safety compliance knowledge is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PM and DOT inspections on light, medium, and heavy vehicles in a mobile/field environment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical systems on trucks and trailers.
• Inspect and document work using Repair Orders and TRAIT app.
