Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to service light, medium, and heavy-duty trucks and trailers in a mobile/field environment. You’ll perform PMs, DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs, using diagnostic tools and company-issued devices to document work.

The role requires ASE T8 (PMI) within 18 months, valid driver’s license, and ability to work independently with strong safety awareness. Training and career growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 3 years of related field experience or 5 years in related field.
• Must supply hand tools.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform PMs, DOT inspections, and light to heavy repairs in mobile/field environment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, engine, and transmission systems.
• Inspect, test, and road test vehicles; document findings via RO in TRAIT app.
