Job summary

Cox Automotive Fleet Services is hiring a Mobile Diesel & Trailer Technician Level II to perform scheduled PMs, DOT inspections, and repairs in a mobile/field setting. You will diagnose issues on trucks and trailers, manage parts and documentation, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

The role requires 1+ year welding and ASE T8 certification within 18 months, with opportunities for weekly pay and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED with related field experience or alternative combinations.
• ASE T8 (PMI) within 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PM and DOT inspections on light to heavy-duty vehicles in mobile/field setting.
• Diagnose and repair truck components including electrical, brakes, cooling, engines, and transmissions.
• Inspect and test equipment, road test vehicles, and document findings on RO with TRAIT app.
