Cox Fleet in the United States seeks a Mobile Diesel & Trailer Technician II to perform licensed DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on trucks and trailers in a mobile environment.

You will work Tue–Sat 11am–8pm, manage the service truck, document RO findings, and benefit from a company vehicle, training, and comprehensive health and retirement benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 3 years related experience, or 5 years in related field.
• Must supply hand tools suitable for job duties.
• DOT pre-employment background screening and DOT physical required.
• DOT medical card with >4 months remaining may be substituted for DOT physical.
• Minimum age 21 and valid driver’s license with 3 years MVR.

Responsabilités

• Perform scheduled PM, DOT inspections and repairs on light–heavy-duty vehicles in mobile/field setting.
• Diagnose and repair electrical/braking/cooling systems, engines, transmissions, and other truck components.
• Inspect trailers and perform related repairs and welding tasks.
• Document RO findings and parts used using TRAIT iOS app.
• Road test vehicles to verify repairs and functionality.
• Maintain service truck and manage parts inventory.
