Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel & Trailer Technician to perform DOT inspections, PMs, and repairs in a mobile/field setting. The role requires strong diagnostic skills and the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.

Hours are 11am–7:30pm, Tuesday–Saturday, with a New Hire Bonus and access to benefits. Must maintain safety compliance, tools, and accurate repair orders using company systems.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required; 3+ years in related field preferred.
• Experience with DOT inspections and PMs for light to heavy vehicles beneficial.
• Ability to read manuals and diagnose electrical/hydraulic/electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PMs and DOT inspections on mobile fleet vehicles.
• Diagnose, repair, and calibrate various truck and trailer components.
• Document work details and parts used; maintain safety standards on site.
