Job summary

Rush Enterprises Inc. is seeking Experienced Mobile Diesel Technicians to support our customers by maintaining fleets and handling service calls at client locations. This role involves on-site service, diagnosing issues, and performing repairs with a focus on safety and efficiency.

The position requires 5 years of Class 7 & 8 technician experience, preferred CDL, and a strong mechanical aptitude. Rush emphasizes a Total Rewards package including healthcare, 401(k), and stock purchase

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and technical ability are required.
• Experience as a Class 7 & 8 technician preferred.
• CDL is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain equipment to company standards.
• Perform basic maintenance and inspections on trucks.
• Manage inventory on service trucks and ensure proper stocking.
• Be available for after-hours service calls and flexible schedule.
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify and repair malfunctions.
• Document repairs and service in company system.
