Job summary

Rush Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician to maintain our fleet and handle on-site service calls at client locations. You will provide excellent customer service, perform routine maintenance, inspections, and convey repair needs to customers and service writers as needed.

The role requires 7 years of Class 7 & 8 technician experience, a valid CDL with Medical Card, and mechanical aptitude. A valid driver license and insurability are also required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 7 years' experience as a Class 7 & 8 technician in a dealership or related truck service facility.
• Current and valid CDL and Medical card as required by FMVSS.
• Mechanical aptitude and technical ability are essential.
• Must possess a current and valid driver license with insurability.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all aspects of equipment according to company standards.
• Handle basic maintenance of the truck including fueling, oil checks, cleaning, and inspections.
• Manage inventory control on the service truck and for keeping the vehicle stocked.
