Job summary

Rush Enterprises Inc. is seeking Experienced Mobile Diesel Technicians to service our clients at their locations across the United States. You will maintain truck fleets, perform diagnostics, and handle on-site repairs to ensure maximum uptime.

This role requires 5 years of Class 7/8 experience, basic CDL is preferred, and ASE certifications are a plus. A comprehensive benefits package and ongoing professional development are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5 years' experience as a Class 7 & 8 technician in a dealership or related facility.
• Current CDL preferred but not required.
• FMVSA medical card as required.
• Mechanical aptitude and technical ability are essential.
• Peterbilt, International, Ford, Hino, Isuzu, Cummins, & ASE certifications are preferred and rewarded.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all aspects of equipment according to company standards.
• Perform basic maintenance and inspections on trucks and equipment at client sites.
• Manage inventory on service trucks and ensure tools are stocked.
• Respond to service calls and document work performed.
• Read job orders, diagnose issues with diagnostic equipment, and perform repairs as needed.
• Conduct safety checks and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Provide clear communication to customers and service writers about needed repairs.
