Zusammenfassung

Rush Truck Centers is seeking Experienced Mobile Diesel Technicians to maintain client fleets and handle on-site service calls. You will support customers with on-site diagnostics, perform preventative maintenance, and manage service-truck inventories.

Candidates should have at least 5 years of Class 7 & 8 experience; CDL is preferred. Benefits include healthcare, 401(k), and employee stock programs. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifikationen

• 5 years' experience as a Class 7 & 8 technician in a dealership or related truck service facility.
• Mechanical aptitude and technical ability required.
• Current CDL preferred but not required.

Aufgaben

• Maintain all aspects of equipment according to company standards.
• Perform basic maintenance of the truck including fueling, oil checks, cleaning, and required inspections.
• Manage inventory control on the service truck and keep vehicle stocked.
• Report to the Service Manager and be assigned daily duties.
• Maintain after-hours availability for service calls and open work schedule.
• Maintain and inventory tools for diesel engine truck maintenance.
• Read job orders to plan work procedures and diagnose malfunctions.
• Utilize diagnostic equipment to determine malfunctions and perform repairs.
• Diagnose and replace parts such as injectors, pistons, bearings, brakes, and transmissions.
• Document and submit paperwork in the mobile service program accurately.
• Respond to customer inquiries and foster positive relations.
• Advise customers on repairs to be performed within the next 3 months.
• Participate in training and apply it on the job.
