Job summary

Rush Truck Centers is seeking an Experienced Mobile Diesel Technician to support our fleet maintenance and service calls at client locations. You will perform diagnoses, repairs, and routine maintenance on heavy trucks and equipment, ensuring safety and on-time service.

The role requires 5 years in Class 7/8 maintenance, strong mechanical aptitude, and certifications; CDL is preferred. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for career growth within a large national network.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Class 7 & 8 technician.
• Current CDL preferred but not required.
• Mechanical aptitude and safety compliance.
• ASE/Cummins/Peterbilt/International certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all aspects of equipment according to company standards.
• Handle basic maintenance and inspections on site.
• Manage inventory on service truck and stock.
• Diagnose using diagnostic equipment and document repairs.
• Respond to customer inquiries and provide updates.
