Cox Fleet, headquartered in Indianapolis, is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, PMs and light to moderate repairs in a mobile field setting. You will diagnose electrical, hydraulic and diesel systems, document findings, and maintain a service truck while meeting safety and performance standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months is required or pursued.
• DOT/FMCSA compliance and DOT medical card required.
• 21+ years old with valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PMs, DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs in field/mobile setting.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems on trucks and trailers.
• Inspect, test, and document findings; use RO systems and TRAIT app.
• Maintain service truck and safety checks; manage parts inventory.
• Coordinate with management for approvals and documentation.
