Job summary

Cox Fleet, headquartered in Indianapolis, is expanding its mobile service fleet nationwide. We are hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, PMs, and light-to-heavy repairs in a field/mobile setting.

You’ll diagnose electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems and document findings using our TRAIT app. The role requires ASE T8 certification within 18 months and a valid driver's license, with weekly pay, safety bonuses, and extensive training opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 3 years’ related experience or 5 years’ related field experience.
• ASE T8 certification within 18 months.
• Valid driver's license and ability to obtain DOT medical card.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PM and DOT inspections on light to heavy-duty vehicles in mobile/field environment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, engine, and transmission systems.
• Inspect, test, and troubleshoot equipment using diagnostic tools and handheld devices.
• Maintain and inventory parts on service truck; upload RO data via TRAIT.
• Communicate with management to obtain approvals and discuss RO findings.
