Cox Fleet, a Cox Automotive company, is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II. You will perform DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, and light-to-heavy repairs in a mobile/field setting across light to heavy trucks and trailers.

The role requires ASE T8 certification within 18 months, 21+ years old, and strong diagnostic abilities. Benefits include on-site support and a path for career advancement.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or equivalent with 3 years in related field or 5 years in related field.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months.
• DOT/FMCSA regulatory background and DOT pre-employment requirements.

Responsabilités

• Perform scheduled PMs, DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs on vehicles in mobile/field environment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling and engine systems.
• Test drive to verify repair quality and safety.
• Manage parts inventory and company-provided service truck assets.
