Job summary

Cox Fleet seeks a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and light repairs in a mobile/field setting. You will diagnose, test, and repair diesel systems and coordinate with customers to deliver top-tier service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 3 years' related field experience, or 5 years' related field experience.
• Possess and supply a set of hand tools.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months.
• DOT pre-employment background screening and DOT physical required.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PMs and DOT inspections on light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles in a mobile/field environment.
• Diagnose, adjust, and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and electronic truck systems.
• Inspect and test equipment, road test vehicles to verify repairs.
• Manage parts inventory and maintain service truck and tools.
• Document work in RO system using company-issued device.
