Job summary

Cox Fleet is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to maintain and repair light, medium, and heavy-duty trucks in a field/mobile environment. You will perform PMs, DOT inspections, diagnose issues, and communicate with clients while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED with related field experience.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months.
• DOT pre-employment background check and DOT physical required.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PM, DOT inspections, and repairs in mobile/field environment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, and diesel systems on trucks.
• Inspect and test equipment; road test to verify repairs.
• Manage parts inventory and document RO with iOS TRAIT app.
• Complete DOT forms and maintain safety and environmental policies.
• Communicate with clients and obtain approvals for estimates.
