Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED with 3 years of related field experience, or 5 years of related field experience.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months is required.
• DOT/FMCSA pre-employment background screening and DOT physical are required.
• DOT medical card accepted if valid with >4 months remaining; if 4 months or less, a DOT physical is required.
• Must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid state driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PM, DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs on light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles in mobile/field settings.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, and engine systems using appropriate tools.
• Inspect, test, and listen to equipment to diagnose malfunctions with hand tools and diagnostic devices.
• Road test vehicles to verify repairs and proper operation after service.
• Manage parts inventory and document work using RO in TRAIT app and iOS devices.
• Complete DOT forms and other documentation promptly.
