Job summary

Cox Fleet is a leading provider of mobile on-site fleet maintenance and repair services nationwide. We hire for a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, light to heavy-duty diagnostics, and on-site repairs.

The role requires interpreting diesel systems, managing parts and tools, and documenting work via our TRAIT app while maintaining safety compliance and excellent customer interactions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and 3 years’ experience in a related field, or 5 years’ related field experience.
• Must possess and supply a set of hand tools necessary to perform required duties.
• Obtain ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months; DOT/FMCSA regulations compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT inspections and PM on light, medium and heavy-duty vehicles in a mobile/field environment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, brake, cooling systems, and engine-related components.
• Document repairs and parts used in the TRAIT app and generate RO findings.
• Maintain and operate the service truck and manage parts inventory.
