Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and light repairs in a mobile/field setting. You will diagnose electrical and mechanical issues, test and road-test vehicles, and manage parts while coordinating with customers and management.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 3 years’ related field experience.
• Must supply personal hand tools for job duties.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months of hire.
• Must pass DOT pre-employment background check and DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PM and DOT inspections on light, medium and heavy-duty vehicles in mobile/field environment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical/hydraulic/engine systems on fleet equipment.
• Inspect/test/road test vehicles to verify repairs.
• Manage parts inventory and company vehicle upkeep.
