Job summary

Cox Automotive, Inc. is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician II to perform on-site maintenance and DOT inspections for light, medium, and heavy-duty trucks. You’ll diagnose issues, perform repairs, and document outcomes while working with a company-provided service vehicle.

In this role you’ll manage parts, maintain safety standards, and communicate with clients to ensure service expectations are met. A HS diploma and 3 years of related experience are typical prerequisites.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with related field experience.
• ASE PMI/T8 certification within 18 months preferred.
• DOT/FMCSA compliance and safety regulations knowledge beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and DOT inspections in the field.
• Diagnose and repair light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles at customer sites.
• Operate company-provided service truck and maintain inventory.
• Document work with repair orders using mobile devices.
