Job summary

Cox Fleet, a Cox Automotive business, is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician II to perform licensed DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on a mobile/field fleet. You will operate from a company truck, enabling you to take the service vehicle home where applicable, with opportunities for skill growth and career development.

Expect a schedule of Wednesday–Sunday or 2:00 pm–10:00 pm, competitive hourly pay, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; or equivalent
• ASE certification in multiple modules preferred (T3–T8)
• Experience with DOT inspections and FMCSA regulations is required or preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PMs, DOT inspections, and repairs on mobile/field vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, engine, and transmission systems on trucks and equipment.
• Test vehicles using diagnostic tools and hand-held devices; road-test to confirm repairs.
• Maintain service truck, inventory, and complete RO documentation via TRAIT app.
