Job summary

Fleet Services by Cox Automotive seeks a Mobile Diesel Technician II to perform DOT inspections, preventive maintenance and diagnostics on a range of vehicles in a mobile/field role. You’ll use hand tools, diesel tools, and TRAIT on an iOS device to document findings and complete repair orders.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent; 3 years related field experience (or 5 years).
• Obtain ASE T8 (PMI) within 18 months.
• DOT/FMCSA pre-employment screening and DOT physical required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a company service truck.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PMs, DOT inspections, and repairs in a mobile/field setting.
• Diagnose and repair diesel and light/heavy-duty truck equipment.
• Test, inspect, and road-test to confirm proper operation.
