Fleet Services by Cox Automotive is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician II to perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a range of trucks in a field setting. You’ll work with a company-issued service truck, manage parts, and document work with a TRAIT iOS app.

You will operate in a scheduled shift (Wednesday–Sunday or 2:00 pm–10:00 pm), and receive a new-hire bonus while advancing your skills with industry-leading training and safety standards.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required; 3 years related field experience, or 5 years equivalent.
• ASE certification in T8 PMI or equivalent within 18 months of hire.
• Must meet DOT/FMCSA requirements and pass pre-employment screening.

Aufgaben

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance, DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs for light, medium and heavy-duty vehicles in mobile/field setting.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, brake, cooling, and engine systems on trucks and equipment.
• Road test vehicles to verify repairs and proper operation after service.
• Maintain and manage parts inventory and company-provided service truck.
• Complete DOT forms and repair orders accurately using company tools and iOS devices.
• Communicate with customers and management to provide clear estimates and timelines.
