Job summary

Cox Fleet is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician II to perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs in a mobile field setting. You will diagnose complex issues, triage repairs, and act as a lead on jobsites for customers and technicians.

The role requires strong diagnostic skills, tool proficiency and the ability to manage parts inventory and documentation using our TRAIT app. Competitive hourly pay with benefits and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 3 years' related field experience.
• 3 years' experience with refrigerated equipment.
• Possess and supply a set of hand tools necessary to perform required job duties.
• DOT/FMCSA regulation knowledge and safety training.

Responsibilities

• Perform PM, DOT inspections and follow-up repairs on light, medium and heavy-duty vehicles in a mobile environment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, engines, transmissions and related systems.
• Document repairs and parts used on RO via company iOS app with photos.
• Maintain service truck and conduct safety checks / pre-post trip inspections.
