Job summary

CoxFleet in the United States is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and light-to-heavy repairs on fleet vehicles in mobile/field settings. You will diagnose electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues, conduct road tests, and document work using an iOS device and TRAIT app.

Workweek Tue–Sat; hours 9am–6pm; weekly pay and company truck use. Requirements include HS diploma or GED with 3 years related experience (or 5 years

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 3 years related experience; or 5 years related field experience.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months.
• DOT pre-employment background screening and DOT physical required.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PM, DOT inspections and follow-up repairs on light to heavy-duty vehicles in a mobile/field environment.
• Diagnose, adjust, and repair electrical, brake, cooling, and engine systems and other truck equipment.
• Road test vehicles to verify repairs and document findings on Repair Orders using TRAIT on an iOS device.
• Obtain parts, manage stock on the service truck, and communicate approvals with management.
