Job summary

Cox Fleet in the United States is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenances, and repairs in a mobile/field setting. You will work with various truck equipment and document findings on RO via TRAIT on an iOS device.

Ideal candidates have HS diploma, ASE T8 certification within 18 months, and a valid CDL with ability to pass DOT tests; generous benefits, weekly pay, and career growth await.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED; 3–5 years in related field.
• Must possess and provide hand tools.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification to be obtained within 18 months.
• DOT pre-employment background screening and DOT physical required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain Driver Qualification File.

Responsibilities

• Perform PM, DOT inspections and follow-up repairs on light–heavy-duty vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, engine, and related systems.
