Job summary

Fleet Services by Cox Automotive is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician II to perform licensed DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, and light to advanced repairs on trucks and trailers in a mobile/field environment. You will diagnose electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems, and work with customers on-site to ensure service quality.

Responsibilities include documenting work on ROs via TRAIT app, managing parts and scheduling, and complying with OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations while

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 3 years’ related experience, or 5 years’ related field experience.
• 3 years’ experience with refrigerated equipment.
• DOT/FMCSA compliance and ability to obtain DOT medical card.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PMs and DOT inspections on light to heavy-duty vehicles in mobile/field environment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems; test using appropriate instruments.
• Maintain and document work using company iOS device and TRAIT app; manage parts inventory and vehicle readiness.
