Job summary

Cox Fleet is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, and light-to-moderate repairs on fleet vehicles in a mobile/field setting.

You will diagnose electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems, manage parts, and document work on RO via TRAIT. ASE T8 within 18 months, valid DOT medical card, and 21+ required. Weekly pay and comprehensive benefits included.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 3 years' related experience, or 5 years' related experience.
• Possess and supply a set of hand tools.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months.
• Must pass DOT background screening and DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PMs and DOT inspections on light, medium and heavy-duty vehicles in mobile/field environment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, and engine systems.
• Test, inspect, and road test vehicles to verify repairs and diagnose malfunctions.
• Maintain service truck and manage parts inventory; document work using TRAIT on iOS device.
