Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and light to heavy repairs in a mobile/field setting. You will diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, manage parts and document work orders using company devices.

Ideal candidates have HS diploma or GED, ASE T8 certification within 18 months, and a valid DOT medical/DOT background. We offer weekly pay and a strong benefits package with career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED with related field experience.
• ASE T8 certification within 18 months or already held.

Responsibilities

• Perform PMs, DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs on light, medium and heavy-duty vehicles in a mobile/field environment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, engine and transmission systems.
• Independently manage parts inventory and document RO data using company devices.
• Maintain safety checks, service truck, and pre-/post-trip inspections.
• Communicate with management for repair estimates and approvals.
