Job summary

Cox Fleet is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and light to mid‑level repairs in a mobile environment. You’ll diagnose electrical, hydraulic, and engine systems and document findings via the TRAIT app.

Ideal candidates have HS diploma or GED, ASE T8 eligibility within 18 months, and DOT compliance. Weekly pay, safety boots reimbursement, uniforms, and 401(k) matching welcome you on day one.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with related field experience preferred.
• AES T8 (PMI) certification to be obtained within 18 months.
• Must meet DOT/FMCSA pre-employment requirements and DOT medical card rules.

Responsibilities

• Perform PM inspections and DOT inspections on mobile fleet.
• Diagnose and repair light, medium, and heavy-duty trucks and trailers.
• Maintain and document RO and upload photos via TRAIT app.
• Manage parts inventory and service truck inspections daily.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental policies.
