Job summary

Fleet Services by Cox Automotive is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician II in Attleboro, MA. You will perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and complex repairs in a mobile/field setting, with advanced diagnostics and leadership on jobsites.

The role requires DOT-compliant work history, toolset, and the ability to manage parts and communicate with customers. Training and safety-focused culture are emphasized, with strong performance expectations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 3 years’ experience in related field, or 5 years’ experience in related field.
• At least 3 years of experience with refrigerated equipment.
• Possess and supply a set of hand tools necessary to perform required duties.
• DOT/FMCSA regulatory compliance experience or ability to obtain DOT medical card.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass DOT background checks.

Responsibilities

• Perform PM, DOT inspections and follow-up repairs on light–heavy-duty vehicles in a mobile environment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical/ braking/ cooling systems, engines, transmissions, and related components.
• Road test vehicles to verify repairs and ensure proper operation.
• Document findings on Repair Orders using TRAIT app and upload photos.
• Maintain inventory and manage parts from approved vendors.
