Job summary

Cox Fleet, a national mobile fleet maintenance leader, seeks a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform PM and DOT inspections, diagnose and repair diesel systems, and support field service operations. You will work in a mobile/field setting, manage parts, and document outcomes using our TRAIT app on an iOS device.

A safety‑minded, customer‑facing technician with ASE T8 in progress is preferred. This role offers weekly pay, company tools and device support, and a clear career path within Cox

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED or equivalent in related discipline.
• Own a set of hand tools necessary to perform duties.
• ASE T8 (PMI) within 18 months.
• Must pass DOT pre-employment screening and DOT physical.
• Valid driver's license; 21+; Class C license.

Responsibilities

• Perform PM and DOT inspections on light/medium/heavy vehicles in mobile environment.
• Carry out minor adjustments and repairs on electrical, braking, cooling systems, engines, transmissions, etc.
• Diagnose and repair vehicle systems using handheld diagnostic tools.
• Road test vehicles to verify repairs and performance.
• Manage parts inventory and service truck equipment.
• Document work in Repair Orders and upload RO findings.
• Complete DOT forms and related documentation promptly.
• Work independently with effective scheduling and prioritization.
