Job summary

Cox Fleet is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections and preventative maintenance on a range of truck and trailer equipment in a mobile/field setting. You will diagnose, repair, and test electrical, braking, cooling and engine systems while documenting work and parts used.

A strong focus on safety, quality, and timely completion is required. You will operate company service trucks, manage parts, and communicate with customers and management to obtain approvals and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent with related field experience.
• ASE certification T8 (PMI) within 18 months is preferred.
• Valid driver's license and ability to obtain DOT medical card.

Responsibilities

• Perform PM and DOT inspections on light to heavy-duty vehicles in mobile/field settings.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, engine and transmission systems.
• Inspect and test equipment; road test to verify repairs and performance.
• Document work via RO using company iOS device and TRAIT app.
