Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, and light repairs on fleet vehicles. You will diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic systems and work under the guidance of a Senior Technician to develop advanced skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 3 years related experience, or 5 years in related field.
• Must obtain ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months.
• DOT regulatory knowledge and pre-employment screening compliance.
• Ability to operate and inspect light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Perform licensed DOT inspections and preventative maintenance inspections.
• Conduct light and follow-up repairs, diagnostics in mechanical/electrical systems.
• Work under supervision of a Senior Technician; learn advanced techniques.
• Maintain safety practices and meet performance metrics.
