Job summary

Cox Fleet is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and follow-up repairs in a mobile/field setting. You will diagnose electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues, road-test vehicles, and document findings using our TRAIT app.

Requirements include HS diploma or GED, 21+ with a valid license, hand tools, and ASE T8 within 18 months; company offers weekly pay, safety gear, uniforms, and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• Possess and supply a set of hand tools for job duties.
• Obtain ASE T8 (PMI) within 18 months.
• DOT pre-employment background screen and DOT physical.
• Valid driver's license and ability to drive company vehicle.
• Minimum 21 years old due to interstate regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PM, DOT inspections and follow-up repairs on mobile trucks.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
• Inspect, test, and road-test vehicles to verify repairs.
• Manage parts and document work on RO via iOS TRAIT app.
• Communicate with management for approvals and updates.
