Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, PMs, and limited repairs in a mobile/field setting. You will diagnose electrical, brake, cooling systems and related components, and manage parts and documentation using TRAIT on an iOS device.

Qualifications

• HS diploma/GED or higher; 3 years in related field or 5 years in related field.
• Obtain ASE T8 (PMI) within 18 months.
• DOT-related pre-employment background screening and DOT physical required.

Responsibilities

• Perform PM, DOT inspections and follow-up repairs on light, medium and heavy-duty vehicles in field.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling systems, and related components.
• Document work performed, parts used, and findings on RO using company iOS device and TRAIT app.
• Maintain service truck, conduct safety checks, and ensure pre-/post-trip inspections.
