Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, PMs, and light repairs in a mobile/field environment. You will diagnose electrical, braking, cooling, and engine systems and complete documentation using our TRAIT app.

The role requires a HS diploma or GED, 3 years of related experience, and ASE T8 within 18 months, with an emphasis on safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 3 years related experience.
• Own a set of hand tools required for duties.
• Achieve ASE T8 (PMI) within 18 months.
• DOT/FMCSA pre-employment background check and medical card.
• 21+ years old and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform PMs and DOT inspections on light to heavy vehicles in mobile/field settings.
• Conduct minor repairs on electrical, braking, cooling, and engine systems.
• Diagnose and test equipment using appropriate tools and devices.
• Document work and upload RO details via company apps and TRAIT.
• Work safely and coordinate with management on repair estimates.
