Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on light to heavy-duty trucks in a mobile/field setting. You will diagnose electrical, braking, cooling, engine, and hydraulic systems, and road test vehicles after service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; 3 years in related field, or 5 years in related field.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months.
• DOT/FMCSA regulatory requirements and DOT medical card eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PM and DOT inspections on light–heavy-duty vehicles in mobile/field environment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, engine, and hydraulic systems.
• Road test vehicles to verify repairs and diagnose malfunctions.
