Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician II to perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs in a mobile/field environment. You will diagnose electrical, braking, cooling, and engine systems, and document work using the TRAIT app while coordinating with customers.

Required are a HS diploma or equivalent and 3+ years in related work; DOT/FMCSA regulations knowledge and a valid license are essential. Benefits include weekly pay and company-provided gear and tools.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED plus 3 years related field experience, or 5 years if no diploma.
• Experience with refrigerated equipment and DOT/FMCSA regulations.
• Own hand tools and the ability to obtain DOT medical and other certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PMs and DOT inspections on mobile fleet vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, and engine systems.
• Test, road-test, and document findings; upload RO details via TRAIT app.
• Manage parts on service truck and liaise with customers on estimates.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations.
