Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician II to perform DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, and light-to-heavy repairs in a mobile/field environment. You will diagnose complex systems, maintain records via TRAIT, and coordinate with clients to ensure service quality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; related discipline degree/certification acceptable.
• At least 3 years of experience with refrigerated equipment is preferred.
• Must supply a set of hand tools for job duties and pass DOT background screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PM and DOT inspections on light/medium/heavy vehicles in mobile/field setting.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems; operate diagnostic tools.
• Maintain service truck and perform pre-/post-trip inspections; document on RO via TRAIT app.
• Coordinate with customers and management; meet productivity targets and safety policies.
