Cox Fleet in the United States is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician II to perform DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, and advanced repairs in a mobile/field environment. You’ll diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems and serve as a lead on jobsites for customers and technicians.

The role requires ASE certifications, FMCSA/DOT regulatory compliance, and the ability to document work via TRAIT and repair orders while working independently with strong safety discipline.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED with 3 years' related field experience, or 5 years' related field experience.
• At least 3 years' experience with refrigerated equipment.
• Must supply hand tools necessary for duties.
• OEM training and certifications preferred.
• DOT/FMCSA pre-employment background screening and DOT physical required.
• DOT medical card valid or able to obtain DOT physical.
• Must be at least 21 years old; valid driver's license.

Responsabilités

• Perform scheduled PMs, DOT inspections, and repairs on light–heavy trucks in mobile/field settings.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, engine, and hydraulic systems.
• Inspect, test, and listen to equipment to diagnose malfunctions; road test vehicles.
• Manage parts inventory and document work via iOS TRAIT app and Repair Orders.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations; maintain service truck and safety checks.
