Job summary

Cox Fleet, a Cox Automotive Company, is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II in Indianapolis, IN. You will perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and light repairs in a mobile/field environment, with opportunities to advance under supervision.

Responsibilities include diagnosing electrical, brake, cooling, engine, and hydraulic systems, maintaining safety standards, and documenting work using the TRAIT app. A valid DOT card and ASE certs are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months.
• DOT/FMCSA compliance and DOT pre-employment screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PMs and DOT inspections on light–heavy trucks in mobile/field setting.
• Diagnose, repair and adjust electrical, brake, cooling, engine and transmissions systems.
• Test vehicles, road test, and document findings in RO using company TRAIT app.
