Job summary

Cox Fleet, headquartered in Indianapolis, is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform PMs, DOT inspections, and light and follow-up repairs in a mobile/field setting. You will diagnose electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems and document findings using the TRAIT app on an iOS device.

The role requires OSHA/DOT compliance, ASE T8 certification within 18 months, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 3 years’ related field experience (or equivalent).
• Must possess and supply a set of hand tools.
• ASE certification T8 (PMI) within 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PM, DOT inspections and follow-up repairs in mobile/field environments.
• Diagnose and repair electrical/braking/cooling systems and other truck components.
• Document work using RO, upload part details and notes via TRAIT app.
