Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician II to perform DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs at customer sites. This role requires field work with a focus on heavy, medium, and light-duty trucks, using extensive diagnostic tools and company-provided equipment.

You will document work on RO records via TRAIT and coordinate with supervisors to ensure timely completion. A DOT background and ASE certifications are required or in progress, with additional trucking regulations

Competenze

• HS Diploma/GED with 3 years related field experience or 5 years in related field.
• Must supply hand tools needed for duties.
• Obtain ASE T8 (PMI) within 18 months.

Mansioni

• Perform PM, DOT inspections and follow-up repairs in mobile/field environment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling systems, engines, transmissions and related components.
• Road test vehicles to verify repairs and diagnose malfunctions.
• Manage parts inventory and document work orders using TRAIT app.
• Complete DOT forms and other paperwork in a timely fashion.
• Operate service vehicle safely and perform pre-/post-trip inspections.
