Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform licensed DOT inspections, maintenance, and repairs at customer sites. You will diagnose electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues on light to heavy-duty vehicles using on-board tech and hand tools.

Role requires strong safety awareness, the ability to work independently, and daily travel. Training and growth opportunities are provided as you advance within our mobile fleet services network.

Qualifications

HS diploma or GED or higher with related field experience.
ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months if not already held.
Valid CDL/driver license and DOT regulatory eligibility.
Proven ability to perform mobile maintenance inspections and repairs.

Responsibilities

Perform PM and DOT inspections on light to heavy vehicles in mobile setting.
Diagnose and repair electrical, fuel, cooling, brakes and engine problems.
Manage parts inventory and stock on company service truck.
Document work by RO in TRAIT app with photos and notes.
Coordinate with customers and supervisor to confirm repair estimates.
