Cox Fleet, a national mobile fleet maintenance provider, is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II. You will perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and light repairs in a mobile/field setting, using tools and diagnostic equipment while ensuring safety and compliance.

The role requires tool readiness, ASE T8 within 18 months, and DOT background/physical clearance. Competitive weekly pay and comprehensive benefits support career growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 3 years’ related field experience or 5 years’ related field experience.
• Must supply a set of hand tools to perform required duties.
• Obtain ASE T8 (PMI) within 18 months.
• Must pass DOT pre-employment background screening and DOT physical.

Responsabilités

• Perform scheduled PM and DOT inspections on light, medium and heavy-duty vehicles in mobile/field environment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, cooling, and engine systems on trucks.
• Inspect, test, and road test vehicles to ensure proper operation.
• Manage parts inventory and maintain the company service truck.
• Document work performed and parts used in Repair Orders via iOS device and TRAIT app.
• Complete DOT forms accurately and on time; communicate findings to management.
