Job summary

Cox Fleet in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections and preventative maintenance on trucks in a mobile/field setting. You will diagnose, repair, test, and document work using company tools and TRAIT app, ensuring safety and compliance.

The role requires HS diploma or 3+ years of related experience, ASE T8 within 18 months, and a valid driver's license. Great hours, weekly pay, and company-provided equipment are offered.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED plus relevant field experience; or 5 years related experience.
• Possess a set of hand tools to perform duties.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months.
• DOT pre-employment background screening and DOT physical.
• Valid driver's license and ability to work interstate.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PMs and DOT inspections on light to heavy trucks in field.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, cooling, and engine systems.
• Road test vehicles and document findings on RO via TRAIT app.
• Manage parts and schedule, communicate with management for approvals.
