Zusammenfassung

Cox Fleet is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, and light-to-medium repairs in a mobile/field setting. You will diagnose electrical, braking, cooling, and engine systems, road test vehicles, and maintain service truck inventory.

The role requires HS Diploma or GED with 3+ years in a related field (or 5 years alternative). ASE T8 within 18 months and a valid CDL/driver's license are expected.

Qualifikationen

• HS diploma or GED required; 3 years related field experience or 5 years related field without diploma.
• Must possess hand tools.
• ASE certification T8 required within 18 months.
• DOT/FMCSA background check and DOT physical completion required.
• Valid drivers license and ability to pass driving record screen.

Aufgaben

• Perform scheduled PMs, DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs on vehicles in mobile/field environment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, brake, cooling, engine, and transmission systems.
• Inspect, test, and listen to equipment to diagnose malfunctions using tools and gauges.
• Road test vehicles to confirm proper operation after service.
• Maintain inventory and manage service truck supplies; document work with RO and mobile device.
